Indian business tycoon and one of Twitter’s famous personalities in the country, Anand Mahindra has once again got his followers talking with his recent tweet. On Sunday, Mahindra took to Twitter to share how he is preparing to watch the second T20 international match between India and England from his home.

The 65-year-old businessman shared a picture of sports eyewear that was worn by Indian cricketer Axar Patel in an earlier Test match between India and England. Sharing the picture of his recent purchase, Mahindra wrote that he had said he was going to get himself a pair of ‘Axar’s shades’ to commemorate the series win.

In an earlier tweet on March 6, 2021, Chairman of Mahindra Group had lauded the Indian cricket team after their impressive win over England in the fourth Test at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad within three days by an innings and 25 runs. And that is when he had also tweeted Axar’s picture in which he was seen wearing those coveted sunglasses. Mahindra had expressed his desire to buy them and had asked on the social media platform which brand they were and where he could find them.

On Sunday, Mahindra finally received his pair of ‘Axar shades’ as he shared the picture. Taking to the microblogging site, Mahindra wrote he bought a pair and expressed his gratitude to the seller, Sporting Tool Relish. Manhindra further wrote he was all set to watch the match on Sunday night. He added about knowing no shades are needed to watch television and his wife already thinks he is crazy but Mahindra said that maybe wearing the shades might prove to be a good luck charm.
