REUTERS: Bitcoin surged 6.15 per cent to US$60,790.56 on Saturday (Mar 13), adding US$3,519.52 to its previous close.

Bitcoin, the world's biggest and best-known cryptocurrency, is up 119.2 per cent from the year's low of US$27,734 on Jan 4.
