A big news here in B Town as the melody queen Shreya Ghoshal celebrates her big day today as she turns 37. So, a very happy and prosperous birthday to the lady. It is a dual celebration for the singer as she is also expecting her first baby with her hubby who has remained his childhood sweetheart. The talented singer has come a long way crossing several milestones in the media. Right from winning the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma in 2000 to getting her first break in a big time film Devdas starring SRK, Madhuri and Aishwarya, the singer has come a long way.
Since then it has not looked back for the lady. She has been recognised for her melodious voice at different places including the global recognitions as well. In Ohio, USA, the governor Ted Strickland announced 26th June as Shreya Ghoshal Day in his state in her honor in 2010. She was called by a microblogging Indian community in the US for this day. While in the UK, she was awarded with the highest honour by the members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.
Ever since she has become active in singing, in her last two decades she has sung 950 songs in Hindi. Her soulful voice has even touched the right chords of heart in a big way.
