In an amazing feat a man has set the Guinness World Record after he moonwalked for over 32 feet with a football balanced on his head.
A native of Guinea, Aboubacar Traore’s video from 2019 is attracting eyeballs on the internet as viewers see him effortlessly perform a smooth moonwalk with a football balanced on his head. Traore created the Guinness World Record on February 28, 2019 when he moonwalked for ten metres (over 32 feet) while perfectly balancing the football on his head in San Diego, United States.
In a video posted by the Guinness World Record page on Wednesday, Traore performs the balancing act for ten feet and 9.7 inches. As he walks along the drawn path, he gracefully brings the football down from his head and goes on to perform some interesting tricks with it. The video has garnered over 53.7K likes since it was shared. Commenting on the post,Ben Nuttall, another freestyle artist wrote, “Smooth.”
Guinness World Records also mentioned in the comments that Traore is originally from West African country Guinea and he is an artist working with the entertainment company,Cirque du Soleil, where he performs his impressive soccer inspired dance moves in a show called Luzia.
The website of Cirque Du Soleil describes the show as, “a waking dream of Mexico.” Inspired by the typical circus of the olden days, Luzia is a creative imagination of Mexico, where light –which is “luz” in Spanish –quenches the spirit and rain –which is “lluvia” in Spanish –soothing the soul, mentions the website. The show consists of surrealistic series of grand visual surprises and breathtaking acrobatic performances. Luzia brings to the stage multiple places, faces and sounds of Mexico taken from both tradition and modernity for its viewers.
Another user commented that he is not going to lie but the thing that Traore did with his shirt after the moonwalk finished was “Hella cool.”
