Ganderbal, Mar 10: Farm machinery and organic fertilizers worth Rs. 4 lacs were distributed among the farmers of Pati Shalabugh, the village adopted under the Organic Vegetable Cluster of subdivision of Ganderbal. The machines distributed include two irrigation pump sets, five tool kits, five battery operated knapsack sprayers, and 20 Poly-Films by a team of officers headed by the Chief Agriculture Officer Ganderbal.  

The field functionaries of the district were asked to utilize all their professional capabilities and transfer the latest agriculture technologies and innovations to the farmers for making agriculture more profitable economic activity.

The Chief Agriculture Officer also directed the staff field to hold awareness camps for farmers about the latest farming trends and reach out to the farming community for overall promotion of the sector.
