The new RTR 160 4V gets a 159.7 cc, single cylinder, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine that now delivers 17.63 PS of power and 14.73 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission that is touted to deliver precise shifts allowing for a rather exhilarating riding experience. The bike also benefits from a new dual tone seat with a carbon fibre pattern, a new LED headlamp with claw styled position lamps and a nice powerful stance.
In addition to all this, TVS has managed to reduce the weight of the bike by 2 kilograms, which definitely aids in the entire power-to-weight equation and undoubtedly translates to better all-round performance. The Apache RTR 160 4V is available in both drum and disc brake versions. The current price of the drum brake version is INR 1.07 lakh, while the disc brake version retails for INR 1.10 lakh.
