Lamborghini Arancio Leonis Pearl Capsule Design Edition (First Look)
Lamborghini India has delivered its first Urus super SUV in the new Arancio Leonis Pearl Capsule design edition. What is the Pearl Capsule edition? It is the first exclusive customization option created by Lamborghini's Centro Stile design department in Italy to showcase the inimitable style and exhilarating performance of the Lamborghini Super SUV.

We were called to the showroom, which is located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai to get a sneak peek into the all-new Urus Pearl Capsule edition. You can also go and check out our walk-around video, click here!

Speaking on the occasion, Sharad Agarwal, Head - Lamborghini India, said, "The Lamborghini Urus has always attracted an extremely diverse group of customers since its launch, with exceptionally varied lifestyles. Nearly 75% of our customers are new to the Lamborghini brand, who enjoy the versatility of their Urus. Today, we are ecstatic to announce the delivery of India's first Urus 2021 model in the new Pearl Capsule edition. The new options available on the Pearl Capsule design edition offers an extended range of exclusive color choices for exteriors and interiors that manifest the owner's unique personality and lifestyle."

"The Lamborghini Super SUV Urus has been a game changer as it offers the versatility of an SUV, along with driving dynamics and emotions of a super sports car. We look forward to welcoming more 2021 models from this new design edition, offering Lamborghini customers the perfect and bespoke way of embracing new adventures'', he further added.

Exterior & Design
Now coming back to the Urus Pearl Capsule, the SUV is available in a range of high-gloss four-layer pearl special colors: Giallo Inti (yellow), Arancio Borealis (orange) and Verde Mantis (green). The Suv is also available in a combination with a high gloss black roof, rear diffuser and a spoiler lip. Furthermore, interior customization is offered by Lamborghini Ad Personam.

At the front, you get the grille finished in gloss black and the signature Lamborghini LED headlight unit. You also get a Sensor that is present at the front of the grille, kind of looks like a camera, but that is for the adaptive cruise control. The lower half of the bumper is finished in black and features big air ducts and also makes the SUV look really aggressive.

Moving on to the side profile, the first thing that will catch your attention is the 23-inch alloy wheel finished in gloss black and yes, they come as standard. However, you can also opt for 22-inches if you think that the ride is too stiff. The standard Urus gets 20-inch alloy wheels.

Now the cladding that is present on the Urus Pearl Capsule edition is finished in gloss black all around the car, whereas on the standard Urus, it is finished in matte black. This gloss black finishing is a part of the style package that is offered by Lamborghini.

Another thing is that the Urus is the only production car in the world that features the biggest carbon-ceramic brake rotors, which is 440mm. An SUV that has a top speed of 305km/h, definitely needs big brakes.

Now coming to the rear, there is a lip spoiler that runs across the boot of the car. On the standard Urus, it is present in the body colour but in the Pearl Capsule edition, it is finished in gloss black. You also get the ‘LAMBORGHINI' badging across the boot. The boot is an electronic one and has 615-litres of space. However, if you need more space you can fold down the rear seat.

Interiors
Now speaking about the interior of the Pearl Capsule edition, the first thing that is to be noted is that the SUV is only available in three colour options that we mentioned above. However, you will get the interior in two tones, one colour will be black and the other will be the one you choose as the exterior colour out of the three.

We could not step inside the SUV since it was a customer's car, but the Urus Pearl Capsule edition features hexagon-shaped upholstery stitching Q-Citura with logo embroidery on the seat, plus carbon fibre and black anodized aluminium details. Available exclusively on the Pearl Capsule, the optional fully-electric seat features airy perforated Alcantara for exceptional comfort.

One can also opt for the updated optional Parking Assistance Package, including state-of-the-art Intelligent Park Assist. This system allows the car to park itself by managing steering, throttle and brake for automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, at just the push of a button. Optional equipment also includes a new premium Sensonum sound system, featuring a 730 W amplifier and 17 speakers, synonymous with the highest Lamborghini quality.

Engine
Mechanically, the Urus Pearl Capsule edition remains the same. The super SUV is powered by a bi-turbo V8 engine with a maximum power output of 641bhp at 6,000RPM and a peak torque output of 850Nm between 2,250 and 4,500RPM. An 8-speed gearbox drives all four wheels via an advanced AWD system. The SUV also comes with six different drive modes that allow its driver to take it off the road.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the standard Lamborghini Urus is sold in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.10 crore. Now, the Urus Pearl Capsule edition is sold at a premium of 20 per cent over the standard SUV's price.

DriveSpark Thinks!
The Arancio Leonis Pearl Capsule design edition looks fantastic and will be available in only three colours. The Pearl Capsule edition will be a bespoke edition as it can be customised as per the customer's needs. Everyone loves a supercar, but not everyone can live with the problems associated with it, ground clearance and everyday driveability being one such problem. The Lamborghini Urus offers everything that a proper Lamborghini supercar does, without the aforementioned problems.
