Celebrity couple Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiya took over the hosting duties from Aditya Narayan during the recent weekend episodes of Indian Idol 12. Laughter reigned on the sets as they made jokes on almost each and everything, even the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raids at their office and residence.
Crime Patrol host Annup Soni came on the show. Upon his arrival, Bharti joked about the NCB raids at the couple’s residence. She said, “We have stopped everything. There’s nothing as such now. The matter is closed in the market now.” Annup smiled and said that he’s not come on the show for them.
In November last year, the duo was arrested on alleged charges of possession of a small quantity of marijuana and consumption of drugs, sending shockwaves in the entertainment world. The raids also led to the seizure of 86.50 gms of marijuana.
The NCB has invoked various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances pertaining to possession of small quantities of restricted drugs and their consumption.
