Hyderabad: The experienced Himanshu Jain gained the upper hand over Mushtaq Hussain on Sunday to lift the senior snooker title at the Telangana State Ranking Snooker and Billiards Championship.
Himanshu scored a comfortable 5-2 victory.
He also recorded a break of 69 in the first frame and a 45 in the third frame. Mushtaq had a break of 56 in the second frame.
Later, Jayesh Ranjan, general secretary of I&C and IT, and Peeyush Sonkar, commissioner of income tax, handed out the awards.
Final Results: Himanshu Jain bt Mushtaq Hussain 5-2 (70[69]-9,21-77[56], 83[45]-16.89-15.87-48.56-96.63-19).
