Uttarakhand starts off their innings on a positive note as both the openers brought a 50 run stand for the opening wicket. But the Delhi captain took the matters into his own hands and deported Jay Bista back to the pavilion. Alongside Kamal’s fifty, captain Kunal Chandela too brought up his fifty but both the batsmen failed to convert it into a big one. At one stage, Uttarakhand was fancying a total above 300 but courtesy to some frugal bowling, Delhi restricted them to only 287. Saurabh Rawat’s quick 44 helped Uttarakhand breach the 250 mark. Delhi needs 288 runs to enter into the quarterfinals round.
