It seems butter chicken has its fans back in the United States as well, and a recent tweet by American chef Rick Bayless just proves it. The American restauranteur, who specializes in Mexican cuisine, tried to impress his son-in-law with his version of Indian culinary classics. The 67-year-old prepared a lavish spread of savoury Indian dishes from butter chicken, paratha, saag paneer, and chana masala. Rick shared pictures of the dishes that he prepared on Twitter on Tuesday. Captioning the pictures, Rick wished his “favorite” son-in-law Kevin Sullivan a happy birthday. He further wrote that he hoped his son-in-law enjoyed all the Indian food he made last night.
The chef had also prepared the Devil’s Food Cake with Salted Cashew Buttercream. And wrote that he cannot wait till little Charlie or his grandson can partake in his finger-licking food preparation.
