Maruti Suzuki is one of the most popular mid-size hatchback in the country. It has been present in the market since 2005 and over the years, popularity of this hatchback has only increased. Swift is one of those cars that is loved by young buyers for its looks and other like it for its fuel efficiency and low cost of maintenance. The Swift is also probably the vehicle that had popularised modification culture in India. We have seen several modified examples of Maruti Swift in India and around the world. Here we have a modified Swift that gets valvetronic exhaust installed.

The video has been uploaded by Automobile Informant Vlogs on their YouTube channel. The video shows all the modification that are made to the car. This Swift that is seen in the video started its life as a VXI model. The vlogger had made several modifications on this hatchback to give it this desired look. This is a 2018 model Swift and the vlogger mentioned that, modification on this hatchback took time.

The first noticeable change on this hatchback is the body kit. The stock bumpers on the Swift were removed and replaced with Swift Sport body kit. This has totally changed the look of the car. It now looks a lot more aggressive than before. All the chrome elements on Swift were either removed or blacked out. The headlamp in VXI model is the regular halogen unit. The vlogger replaced it with top-end ZXI plus lights and there is a multi colour demon eye light installed as well.

The lower part of the bumper gets an additional LED DRL and fog lamps. There is an aftermarket splitter installed which gives it a lowered stance. The car gets a black wrap from Avery Dennison on the bonnet and fender to give it an aggressive look. The other changes that you would notice in the side are the 15 inch aftermarket alloy wheels with tyre stickers on it. A side skirt is seen on the car which adds to the stance of the vehicle. The Swift is actually not lowered but, all these modifications make it look like a lowered car.

As we move towards the rear, we notice the huge roof mounted spoiler which is painted in gloss black. The rear bumper as mentioned above is the Swift Sport unit with twin exhaust tips on it. The vlogger has installed a valvetronic exhaust in this. The benefit of having this setup is that the exhaust note can be changed using a remote control. Other modification at the rear is the clear lens aftermarket LED tail lamps.

Vlogger mentions that, they will soon start their work on the interiors and will be coming up with something unique. Maruti Suzuki Swift is available with a petrol engine option only. Maruti recently launched a 2021 facelift for Swift in the market. It gets minor cosmetic changes both inside and outside. The major update however is the 1.2 litre DualJet petrol engine which is more powerful than the older version. This 1.2 litre engine generates 89 Ps and 113 Nm of peak torque.
