Vaccine Maitri: COVID vaccine reaches Ethiopia

New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on Sunday informed that the made in India COVID vaccines have reached the African nation of Ethiopia.

"Delivering on a historical connect. Made in India vaccines arrive in Ethiopia," the EAM said in a tweet.

India, under the Vaccine Maitri initiative, has so far supplied 461.66 lakh doses of COVID vaccines across the globe.

During a media briefing on Saturday, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that India has delivered vaccines to 47 countries till now.
