The center cuts the budget allocations to Telangana by Rs 000 000: Harish

Hyderabad: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Sunday made a spin-off of the center for reducing the allocations to the state of Telangana in the Union budget 2021-22 by R, 000,000 million. Funds approved by the Financial Commission alone were reduced from 1,847 million to 1,365 million.

In a meeting with the Panchayat Raj employees in Manneguda here, Harish Rao said that the Telangana state is making rapid progress in various parameters due to the efforts of the civil servants, especially Panchayat Raj employees.

He pointed out that the state government was able to provide drinking water to every household in the state, especially in remote villages, and the credit goes to the employees of Panchayat Raj. He said Telangana was the only state that permanently solved the drinking water problem.

He announced that the implementation of the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) had been delayed due to the lack of clarity on government revenue due to the adverse effects of Covid-19 pandemic. He assured that Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who always treats the employees as his children, will make a decision on the VRC that will be satisfactory to all. “We take responsibility for your well-being,” he said, asking for their vote for TRS candidates S Vani Devi and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy.

Eranchelli Dayakar Rao, Minister of Panchayat Raj, said the Prime Minister is aware of the issues regarding employees of Panchayat Raj and will soon make a positive decision on pending issues. He urged them not to have doubts about the implementation of the VRC, as the prime minister was a man with a golden heart. He said the state had won honors in various fields because of the work the employees had done.

Excise Minister V Srinivas Gold said that all matters of Panchayat Raj employees could not be resolved in one day and that they could be assured to strive on their behalf to resolve them in stages. Vani Devi also spoke at the event and asked for the support of Panchayat Raj employees.
