Hyderabad: Neo-business platform offering digitalization solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), FloBiz, wants to expand its operations to Level 2 cities and also introduce solutions in several languages, including Telugu. Headquartered in Bengaluru, the company, through its flagship product – MyBillBook – provides GST invoicing solution, inventory management solution and accounting management via a mobile app. With more than 30 Lakh traders on board, four of whom are from the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh regions, the company has grown 5 times in the last five months.
‘When we started the company in 20189, business-to-business (B2B) space was fragmented in terms of digitization, with almost 80 per cent of SMEs working on pen and paper. Digitization helps them in their growth story. Our company focuses on GST-registered companies and mostly wholesalers from sectors such as FMCG, Pharma, Hardware, Construction and Textile. In the last five months, we have grown five times and we are seeing good traction from the two Telugu-speaking states, ”said Rahul Raj, founder and CEO of FloBiz.
The MyBillBook app is an easy GST billing, inventory management, AR / AP management and mobile accounting app. The app provides complete accounting capabilities directly on a smartphone to digitize all operations and daily tasks of a business. The app is designed from the perspective of a business owner and does not require any prior accounting knowledge to start using. It is currently available in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Tamil, and the company plans to launch it in Telugu soon.
“We offer both – free and paid plan to our customers, and also adapt our offer according to the needs of the customer. While customers in metro cities have access to their software for accounting and billing purposes, it is the businesses in level 2 and 3 cities that need ready-to-use products like ours. These markets are therefore important to us, ‘Raj said.
