England need to first score 160 runs in their 2nd innings to go past India’s lead. They are on the brink of a consecutive series in India. The visitors had lost the previous serious 4-0 (2016/17).
With the win, India can enter the WTC Final, but a draw would also do the job.
England need to something out of the ordinary if they are to level the series 2-2. They can possibly do that as Sundar and Axar survived the majority of the opening session. As the pitch gets older, later in the day, it could leave England in misery.
Meanwhile, Australia will be following the game closely. The Aussies can only qualify for the WTC Final if England defeats India.
