Rumours were doing the rounds of social media that Indian Idol 12 was going off-air by the end of March and will be replaced by a new show, Super Dancer Chapter 4. It was being said that the last episode of Indian Idol 12 would air on March 27 and the makers would apparently speed up the elimination process to pronounce the winner. The show's low TRPs were cited as the reason behind its culmination. Amid the rumours, composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya, who is currently judging the show, has now cleared the air once and for all. Recently, the channel announced its new show, Super Dancer Chapter 4, which starts from March 27. It will air every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, the slot which Indian Idol 12 is currently being telecast every weekend. Some fans believed that Indian Idol 12 might get a different time slot.
