NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday said it is extremely encouraging that people belonging to reserved categories are getting into merit list without availing quota and reiterated that such candidates will have to be adjusted in the general category. It also upheld the Madras HC order, which had directed the Tamil Nadu Teachers’ Recruitment Board to prepare a fresh selection list after including the successful reserved category candidates in the general category.
