MBVV Police launch manhunt for wife killer

Palghar, Mar 4 (UNI) The Mira-Bhayandar Vasai Virar (MBVV) police have launched a manhunt for a Nalla Sopara man who allegedly brutally killed his wife over domestic dispute.
An offence under section 302 of Indian Penal Code has been registered with the Tulinj police station, police said on Thursday.
In the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, accused Roopesh More (31) allegedly stabbed his wife Vinita (32) with a knife at his house in Gala Shirdi Nagar of Nalla Sopara.
Police found the body of the victim lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds on the night of Wednesday.
The body has since been sent to the government hospital for post-mortem.
Preliminary reports indicated that a dispute over financial matters led to the killing, sources added.
