A video that will fill your heart with love and warmth is doing the rounds on the internet. In the clip, one can see a baby being overjoyed after he was able to hear for the first time. The baby from Perth was born with a hearing impairment and his parents were informed about his condition 14 hours after his birth. The video which is going viral is quite old as the infant in the video is now two years old.

In the video accessed by Daily Mail, the little boy named Harrison Rex can be seen smiling wide after his mother called out his name. During the life-changing moment, Rex was in his grandmother’s arms. His parents, Eisha-Marie Stone and Chris Rex had worked really hard to make sure that their little prince could hear and as a result of their constant efforts, at only six weeks little Harrison had gotten a hearing aid. It is only because of this machine that he was able to hear his mom’s voice for the first time ever since his birth.

Describing the happy moment, Eisha-Marie Stone mentioned that her son’s ear to ear grin meant so much to her. When the much-awaited moment of her life came true the elated mother had happy tears rolling down her eyes. The mom of two also revealed that she was in disbelief of her son’s hearing impairment till the time that moment came true. Further expressing her joy she added that more than anything the kind of happiness her son felt in that moment was one of the most amazing experiences of her life.

Touching upon the struggle that she and her husband had to go through, Eisha-Marie said, that they were clueless as to what they could do to change the harsh reality. In fact, people around too were of no help. Elaborating upon the painstaking journey, she added, “No one would say anything to us when he was first born; not where to go, what to do. It’s like they didn’t recognise we were human beings who just had their lives shattered. I would stay up most nights and search for different kinds of solutions for him.”

It is during her research, that she came across, Western Australia-based organisation Telethon Speech and Hearing. The organisation is known for helping children who are unable to hear or have speech delays. Today, the little man is two years old and can speak and interact as children of his age do. Eisha-Marie revealed that this has only been possible because her little boy started a program with the organisation when he was four months old.
