LSU coach should have been fired in 2013, former AD said


Former Louisiana State University head soccer coach Les Miles’ conduct was so problematic throughout his tenure on the faculty that his then-boss, LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva, really useful his firing in June 2013. 

But the college as an alternative saved Miles on its payroll for an additional three years and buried a report detailing the coach’s alleged sexual advances on feminine pupil staff, hands-on method to hiring ladies and feedback concerning the look of girls in his workplace. 

The new revelations about Miles, who’s now the top soccer coach on the University of Kansas, come from a 148-page investigative report into the school’s handling of sexual misconduct launched Friday. LSU launched the investigation in December after reporting by USA TODAY uncovered systemic mishandling of sexual misconduct allegations. It employed outdoors regulation agency Husch Blackwell to conduct the evaluate.
