Availability of a short form of the 2020 Annual Financial Report

A short form of the Dassault Aviation 2020 Annual Financial Report (version abrégée du Rapport Financier Annuel 2020) is available to the public, awaiting the issuance of the statutory auditors' reports.

This short form of the 2020 Annual Financial Report can be found on the company’s website at www.dassault-aviation.com, in the “Finance / Publications / 2021 Publications” section.

The full 2020 Annual Financial Report will be made available to the public and filed with the French Financial Markets Authority (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) later in March 2021.

    (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is trying to treat the cryptocurrency XRP as a security even as it exempts Bitcoin and Ether from being regulated like stocks or bonds, XRP developer Ripple Labs Inc. said.In a court filing Thursday, Ripple pushed back against the SEC, which had sued Ripple, its co-founder Christian Larsen and Chief Executive Officer Bradley Garlinghouse in December, claiming they deceived investors in XRP by selling more than $1 billion of the virtual tokens without registering with the agency.The SEC can’t regulate XRP because it’s a medium of exchange -- a virtual currency used in international and domestic transactions -- not a security, Ripple said in its filing.“The SEC’s filing, based on an overreaching legal theory, amounts to picking virtual currency winners and losers as the SEC has exempted Bitcoin and Ether from similar regulation,” Ripple said.Attorneys for Larsen and Garlinghouse in separate letters Wednesday to U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres wrote that their clients anticipate filing a motion to dismiss SEC’s revised complaint.The case is Securities and Exchange Commission v.     (Bloomberg) -- Bitcoin’s appeal as a hedge against inflation is being put to the test, with the largest cryptocurrency slumping along with other risk assets after Jerome Powell failed to ease investor concern about rising price pressures.The digital token fell as much as 6.7% and traded at about $47,900 as of 2:38 p.m. in New York, after the Federal Reserve chairman said he is monitoring financial conditions and would be “concerned” by disorderly markets, but stopped short of offering specific steps -- which sent Treasury yields higher and stocks lower.“Once it feels like the market is in risk-off mode, which it clearly is, because if you’re selling everything except for energy, that’s very risk-off,” said Arthur Hogan, chief market strategist at National Securities Corp. “It really doesn’t matter whether you are Bitcoin or Ark or semis or banks -- every thing’s being thrown over the transom.”Bitcoin surged to more than $58,000 last month, with advocates such as MicroStrategy Inc. Chief Executive Officer Michael Saylor touting the token as alternative to cash because of the risk of rising inflation from government and central bank stimulus. Shares of the enterprise software maker, which has purchased over 90,000 Bitcoins, tumbled as much as 17% on Thursday.
