AGRA: A 13-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by two juveniles in Aligarh’s Lodha area in UP on Thursday.
Police have registered an FIR against them.
The accused threatened the boy and gave him Rs 20 for not disclosing the crime to anyone.
According to the survivor’s father, he had asked his son to go to the local market to buy some farm equipment while he was harvesting their mustard crop.
Two local youngsters who accompanied him took him to a nearby jungle and allegedly sexually assaulted him.
They later dropped him home, threatened him with dire consequence if he disclosed this to anyone and also gave him Rs 20.
The boy’s father told the police that the local boys were known to his family and he had never suspected them to do this.
He said, “When my wife visited their parents and complained, they did not even listen to her.”
The farmer later took his son to the district hospital on Friday for a medical check-up.
Superintendent of police (crime) Arvind Kumar said that a case under section 377 (unnatural sex) of the IPC and the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been filed against the two minors.
