Cyber Crime : Six nabbed from West Bengal over Amazon fraud
Pakyong , 05 Mar : Sikkim Police Cyber crime team lead by IO Abhishek Dahal , Vinay Basnett and 5 supporting constables reached out to root of cyber fraud in connection to duping Rs 4,20,000 of victim in pretext of availing prize after shopping in Amazon ecommerce site.
A lady victim approached Sikkim Cyber Crime Dept following which following persons were nabed in two separate instance of investigation after approval of CJM Sikkim, coordination by DCP Barrackpore (WB).
These fraudsters were operating in well coordinated nexus from place named Titagarh under Barrackpore Barrackpore Commissionate in Central Zone.
Previously in cyber crime related cases many cases were DIG out from place named Jamtara in Jharkhand , team found now these fraudsters have started operating from Titagarh.
As per SP Cyber Crime IPS at spot there were already several other states police team who were also on respective case investigation on same type.
Nabbed persons are as follows, Amit Sha, Md Sanawaz , Sujit Singh , Deepak Das and Vinay Kumar Gupta who are now in custody.
