    Crude oil futures decline on low demand

    NEW DELHI: Crude oil futures on Thursday fell 0.57 per cent to Rs 4,499 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand.

    On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for the March delivery eased by Rs 26, or 0.57 per cent, to Rs 4,499 per barrel with a business volume of 4,173 lots.

    However, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.59 per cent up at USD 61.64 per barrel, while Brent crude was quoting 0.73 per cent higher at USD 64.54 per barrel in New York.
