It seems that Bollywood filmmakers and editors have forgotten what constitutes as a teaser, and the Saina teaser is another classic case of this. A teaser is meant to tease what is to come in the trailer, which then builds excitement further for the actual, but the makers of the Saina Nehwal biopic, starring Priyanka Chopra's younger cousin, Parineeti Chopra, have revealed so much already in the teaser, we wonder what's left for the trailer yet to come. Coming to the teaser of Saina itself, it doesn't paint that enthusing a picture, giving away a general feeling of 'been there seen that'. Directed by Amole Gupte, the writer of Taare Zameen Par, and produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Saina also stars Manav Kaul and Paresh Rawal.
BL Verdict: After watching the Saina teaser, we sincerely hope that the trailer doesn't give away much more, besides also doing a better job at building anticipation for the eventual film.
