Anacom tests find 5G trial networks well within RF limits

The electromagnetic fields of the 5G mobile network in Portugal are 50 times lower than the maximum levels recommended by the WHO, according to the National Communications Authority (Anacom). The regulator conducted measurements of electromagnetic fields in different 5G trials in 2020, targeting the 3.4-3.8 GHz frequency bands. Anacom conducted the measurements in five locations, along with four different 5G network technical trials.
