Electoral understanding among Left-led CPI(M), Congress and newly launched ISF is imminent

Kolkata, Mar 4 (UNI) An electoral understanding among the CPI(M) led Left parties, Congress and newly launched Indian Secular Front (ISF) was imminent and that could be seen shortly given the increasing polarisation of politics between West Bengal ruling Trinamool Congress and BJP.
Poll observers said that a united front is nearly visible and that could be seen shortly as the CPI(M) led Left was brokering a " slight rift" between the Congress and Abbas Siddique led ISF over the seat-sharing formula for the 294-seat West Bengal assembly's eight-phase poll beginning March 27.
A report said that while Congress has agreed to contest in 92 seats, the ISF 37/38 and the rest for the CPI(M) led Left parties.
The candidates for these parties are expected to be announced by March 8.
But before this, the parties are expected to hold a joint announcement to declare their seat-sharing formula.
