Co-working operators are reporting demand from existing clients who want to move from traditional space and go for multiple spaces on the periphery of the city.
In a recently concluded webinar by flexible office space provider, Awfis, experts said that the future of work will be about 'anywhere, anytime’ as office spaces will act as a central hub for collaboration, innovation and organizational culture.
“Out clients are expanding with us. The reasons are both- moving on from conventional office spaces towards flexibility and agility along with footprint expansion into new regions to tap better talent,” said Pratik Agarwal, Real Estate & VP Sales, Smartworks.
International Workplace Group, global workspace provider that has a network of office, co-working and meeting spaces for companies to use in every city in the world, is reporting similar trends.
“There is a lot of demand coming from peripheral areas of the city, which are closer to residential areas. A lot of existing clients are coming to us and asking for space in those areas,” said Harsh Lambah, Country Manager India, VP Sales - South Asia at IWG.
IWG, which has aggressive plans for expansion this year, is witnessing growing demand from tier-II cities and is reporting of hub-and-spoke model in India.
