Family leaves $5G tip for Colorado restaurant: ‘Unbelievable generosity’


Employees at a Colorado restaurant have been reportedly left in disbelief when a household left them a massive tip earlier this week. 

On Sunday morning, the employees at Loose Moose — a restaurant on the indoor water park resort, Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs, Colorado — obtained a $5,000 tip to be cut up amongst themselves, in line with native experiences.

The household who left the tip had simply been visiting the resort for the primary time and had loved it a lot that they have been already planning their subsequent journey, FOX21 reported Wednesday.

“The server presented the check, picked it up, and brought it to me, and as we looked at it, it was definitely the moment of wow!” Monique West, the Great Wolf Lodge’s meals and beverage director, informed the station. “Just like unbelievable generosity and just a little bit of disbelief.”

According to FOX21, there have been solely 5 workers — three servers, one host and one busser — working the Sunday breakfast shift, in order that they every introduced residence $1,000. 

An image of the receipt, which was obtained by FOX21 reveals that the household’s big tip was left on a $55 meal.

West informed KOAA that the household’s tip “changed the lives” of the restaurant workers.
