MUMBAI: Maharashtra Samajwadi Party chief and MLA Abu Azmi expressed displeasure over chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s speech and said that religion is not part of Common Minimum Programme which is the base of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
“Now a days, political speeches are being given on floor of the house. The MVA government has not been formed alone by the Shiv Sena but Sena-Congress-NCP and based on the Common Minimum Programme (CMP),” said SP leader.
“We were forgotten the Babri incident but the speech given by CM is redreshed our wounds. It’s not fair that he is saying he is proud of demolishing Babri Masjid,” said Azmi in the lower house.
Thackeray on Wednesday in his speech in the house had said that late Shiv Sena supremo stood behind party members and said that if it’s true that Shivsainiks took part in Babri Masjid demolition, he was proud of them.
