Spain's El Corte Ingles to launch 'Sweno' MVNO with Masmovil

Spanish telecommunications group Masmovil, the country's fourth largest network operator, has enhanced its existing collaboration with El Corte Ingles with an agreement to help the retail giant offer mobile and convergent services under the 'Sweno' brand. In a short statement, the partners said the deal signed by Masmovil CEO Meinrad Spenger and El Corte Ingles CEO Victor del Pozo will enable the companies to "market services under the best conditions so that they cover all the connectivity needs of their clients, in accordance with their usual standards of premium quality and trust".
