Hip-hop fashion can be hard to understand by the commoners at times. And a prime example of that is the latest Adidas sneakers designed by Estonian rapper Tommy Cash. The rapper has created a metre long sneakers, which happens to be the longest sneakers ever. But considering how 2020 was all about maintaining social distance with the coronavirus pandemic, these sneakers might not look so outrageous.
Another unique point about these pairs of eccentric sneakers is that one is black and another is white. The 29-year-old hip-hop artist had teamed up with adidas Originals for its final installment of the SUPERSTAR Campaign. In an Instagram post on Monday he revealed that when he first said to Adidas that he wants to make the longest shoe in the world as their collaboration, they were quite sceptical, but five months later “here we are”. The result is a very limited edition consisting of an Adidas Superstar that has been abnormally elongated, which might also remind you of a pair of clown shoes.
The odd looking niche fashion creation has certainly left netizens in splits who have been sharing their wild reactions on social media. Some users are wondering who in their right mind would wear the shoes while others are questioning the practical use of the shoes. One user questioned on Twitter as to how she would lift her toe with those extra large shoes, while another user wondered how they would walk in them.

The shoe has already inspired a user to create a perfect meme. One user dubbed the sneakers as ‘baguette shoes’ and wrote that it is a perfect way for parents to punish a child if they ask them to unlace, lace, and then tie the one metre long shoes.

Commenting on Tommy Cash’s instagram post, a follower found the perfect opportunity to comment, “What are thoooooooooooooooooooooooose?!” While another user suggested a smart way of using the extra space in the shoes and wrote, “You can hide a sandwich in the empty space. CoUtuRe meets functionality”.
