UP: 17-year-old boy kills minor girl for opposing sexual assault in Aligarh village

During interrogation, the accused told the police that he was seeing a porn video when he saw the victim.
AGRA: Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy for allegedly killing a speech-impaired girl after she opposed his attempts for oral sex in Kiwlash village in UP's Aligarh district on Sunday.
The boy is from Dhaurai village and confessed to killing the minor Dalit girl.
Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Muniraj G told TOI that sections of SC/ST Act and 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of the IPC will also be included in the FIR as per available evidence.
“The boy has been sent to juvenile home after being produced before the juvenile board today,” he said
The medical examination of the boy will also be conducted as he looks a major, he added.
The SSP also said that no semen has been found in the forensic report, which was received on Wednesday.
During interrogation, the accused told the police that he was watching a porn video when he saw the victim.
Taking advantage of the girl's inability to speak, he took her to a nearby field and tried to have oral sex.
On being resisted, he strangled her with the dupatta she was wearing.
When she died, he dragged her body to another field to avoid suspicion.
To destroy the evidence, the accused threw the girl's dupatta in a canal.
However, the girl's slippers have been recovered by the police.
Superintendent of police (crime) Arvind Kumar said, "Though the boy is a 8th class dropout, he is proficient in using the internet."
"The boy is a farm labourer in his village," added Kumar.
The police also said that 118 porn videos were found in the accused's mobile phone.
He was also found to be a member of one such group where such videos are shared.
His mobile phone has been seized by the police.
(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
