TCA reports eSim shipments up 83% in 2020 as device, operator support accelerates

Shipments of eSims rose 83 percent in 2020 to 309 million units, according to industry data collected by the Trusted Connectivity Alliance from its members. A growing number of devices supporting the eSim and local initiatives like Europe's eCall legislation supported the market growth, the TCA said.
