The traditional Hindu wedding of Padmini Kohlhapure's son Priyaank Sharma and film producer Karim Morani's younger daughter Shaza Morani, who was supposed to be held in Amby Valley or Khandala near Mumbai has now been postponed due to resurgence in COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra. Now, in an interview, Shaza's uncle Mohammed Morani told The Times of India, 'We respect the law and will not put anybody to risk'. The lavish wedding which was going to be held in Mumbai is ‘not happening for now’ due to the growing Covid-19 cases in the state of Maharashtra. 'But that's not happening for now as there has been a resurgence of COVID cases in Maharashtra and the rules have brought the otherwise permissible limit of 250 individuals to 50 again'.
