Mayanti Langer has Solid Response for Husband Stuart Binny Haters

Mayanti Langer has once again taken to social media to defend husband Stuart Binny, who recently stepped out to play his 100th List-A game. On achieving this remarkable feat, Binny took to social media to express his happiness, however, there are always people out there to demean and demotivate players. Reacting to the redundant comments made, Langer took to her Instagram to congratulate her husband and stated that while some just talk, Binny walks the talk.

Binny took to Instagram to inform his followers that he would be playing his 100th List-A game with the caption, “The day has come to walk out for my 100 List A game….Blessed.” While some congratulated Binny, some always have something negative to say.

Langer, who is one of India’s leading sports anchors, took to Instagram to defend her husband and stated that it is “Hardwork and Perseverance”in the past 17 years which sees Binny achieve this remarkable feature. Taking a sly dig at the trollers and haters out there, Langer said, “Some just TALK, Stuart Binny walks the talk.”

Langer also posted the Instagram screenshot on Twitter and posted the picture with the caption, “To the haters, but mainly to the supporters.”

Binny played his 100th List-A match for Nagaland in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. The all-rounder has been vital in Nagaland’s great run this season, and on his 100th List-A match, Binny scored an unbeaten 55 off 37 deliveries, helping Nagaland secure a seven-wicket win over Arunachal Pradesh. Rongsen Jonathan (113) and Shrikant Mundhe (102)’s centuries put Nagaland in a comfortable spot while Binny went on to finish the match with his unbeaten half-century.

Binny has faced plenty of hate and backlash by trollers since his last match he played for the Indian cricket team, which was a T20I against West Indies back in August2016. The cricketer has opened up on hate received from people and has said that it is nothing new to him.

Binny used to represent Karnataka in domestic cricket, but shifted his allegiance to Nagaland in 2019. The 36-year-old all-rounder hasrepresented India in many matches in his career. Binny has played 6 Tests, 14 ODIs and 3 T20Is for the Indian cricket team, however, the all-rounder will fondly be remembered for his best figures in ODI cricket which is 6/4. In what can be one of the most remarkable and unrepeated feat in the sport, Binny took Bangladesh apart and was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant spell, helping India win the match by 47 runs.
