Parineeti Chopra-starrer Saina’s poster and teaser released on Wednesday. The much-anticipated film is a biopic based on the life of ace badminton player Saina Nehwal and since its inception, the film has been making headlines. However, after the release of the first poster of the film, people weren’t pleased. The poster created quite a hullabaloo on social media and for all the wrong reasons. Why? Well, some people spotted a goof-up in the poster. Netizens claimed that the hand movement shown in the poster of Saina resembles a tennis serve and not badminton. BADMINTON SERVE VS TENNIS SERVE
The way a player serves in the game of badminton is very different from a tennis serve. A badminton shuttle is never tossed high up in the air like it is shown in the first poster of Saina. According to one of the main rules in the game of badminton, a player must make contact with the shuttle below the waist.

Team Saina is being massively trolled for getting the technique incorrect in the poster. While some people were impressed to see Parineeti as Saina Nehwal in the teaser of Saina, others spotted an obvious mistake in the poster of the film and trolled the makers for not being able to decipher this “basic mistake”. ABOUT SAINA
Directed by Amole Gupte, Saina is set to hit the screens on March 26. Saina went on floors in 2019 and was set to hit the screens in 2020. However, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the release date had to be postponed.
