Trivikram Srinivas (Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo)
Trivikram Srinivas' directorial Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is one of the biggest hits of 2020. Allu Arjun was quite impressive in his performance and his pairing with Pooja Hegde was much appreciated.
Anil Ravipudi (Sarileru Neekevvaru)
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the romantic action drama, Sarileru Neekevvaru, features Mahesh Babu in the role of an army officer. It is bankrolled by Mahesh Babu along with Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju. Vijayashanthi, Rashmika Mandanna and Prakash Raj also play crucial roles in the entertainer.
Sudha Kongara (Soorarai Pottru)
One of the most critically acclaimed South films of the year. This Suriya starrer was released on the OTT platform during the Diwali weekend. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the movie tells the tale of Needumaran, a hot-headed young man (played by Suriya) who wants to bring changes in his village.
Sachy (Ayyappanum Koshiyum)
Directed byb Sachy, Ayyappanum Koshiyum tells the tale of two people, an ex-havildar and a police officer. Prithviraj plays an alcoholic with a raging temper while Biju Menon plays Ayyappan, the police officer. The movie was both a critical and commercial success.
Desingh Periyasamy (Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal)
Directed by Desingh Periyasamy, Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal is a fun romantic-heist comedy film starring Dulquer Salmaan, Rakshan, Ritu Varma and Niranjani Ahathian. The film was a huge success at the box office.
