
Gyalshing,1st March, 2021(IPR): The Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri. Prem Singh Tamang(Golay) commenced his three days West Sikkim tour from Dhupidara- Narkhola Gram Panchayat unit, one of the remotest and far-flung area of Sikkim under Yuksum- Tashiding Constituency.
Addressing the gathering in brief, the Chief Minister highlighted the deplorable road conditions and directed concerned departments for the construction of all weather road for public convenience and smooth transportation services. Considering the natural beauty, he inform, the region can be transform into tourist destination where rural populace can take maximum advantage and assure to provide support from the government for developing infrastructure in the area. In addition, he ask the heads of the institution to put extra effort for the all round development of the students and the institution as well.
As envisoned by the Hon’ble CM the medical team under Garib Jan Kalyan Prakosta conducted the free medical camp at Dhupidara,Gram Prashasan Kendra, today. Facilities of free medicine distribution, wheel chairs distribution, free health insurance, computerised eye testing machines, Medical Specialist, orthopedist, Dentist, ENT specialist etc. were accessible to the people.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister distributed premium blankets, prestige pans & cookers torchlights and sweets as a token of love to the people of the Constituency.
He also inaugurated the Dhupidara police picket post which is constructed at Dhupidara-Narkhola Gram Prashasan Kendra.
The Chief Minister also declared to visit this section of Yuksam-Tashiding constituency once in a calender year with all the HODs and official.He also directly interacted and met with the people and gathered first-hand information about their issues and gave assurance for its fulfillment.
