Senegal regulator launches consultation on VAS aggregators

Senegal's telecom authority ARTP is seeking views on a proposal to authorise aggregators in the VAS (Value Added Services) market, with the aim to facilitate interconnection between VAS providers and telecom operators. Stakeholders have been invited to provide their feedback by 01 April. The consultation covers 22 questions, including the business models that could be approved and the role of aggregators for different services, such as fixed voice, SMS/MMS, USSD, and internet-based (VOD, applications).
