Three killed, one injured in UP road mishap

Badaun, Mar 2 (UNI) Three youths were killed while other sustained serious injuries in a road mishap in the Faizganj Behta area here, police said on Tuesday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Siddharth Verma here said that Abdal, Ragib, Yunus and Sohail, hailing from the Lakshmipur village, were returning from Chandausi on a motorcycle.
They were passing by an oncoming potato-laden tractor-trolley near the Suraini village at the Asafpur-Chandausi road at around 2300 hrs.
However, one of the wheels of the tractor-trolley dislodged during this time and the tractor lost control and rammed into the bike. All four youths fell on the road and sustained critical injuries.
Ragib and Yunus were killed on the spot in the accident while Sohail died on the way to the hospital. Abdal sustained critical injuries in the accident and he has been admitted to a private hospital situated in Chandausi by his family.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
