Reporters Without Borders files criminal complaint against Saudi crown prince
The Paris-based media advocacy group stated in an announcement that it had filed the complaint with a federal courtroom in Karlsruhe, Germany, on Monday and was requesting that prosecutors open a proper investigation. The courtroom confirmed to CNN Business that it had acquired the complaint.
According to Reporters Without Borders, the complaint accuses the crown prince and 4 different Saudi officers of getting “organizational or executive responsibility” for the killing of Khashoggi, in addition to involvement in “developing a state policy to attack and silence journalists.”
Saudi officers didn’t instantly reply to CNN‘s requests for touch upon the Reporters Without Borders complaint.
Saudi Arabia rejected the allegations.
