A brace by Themba Zwane alongside goals by Peter Shalulile, Lebohang Maboe and Kermit Erasmus secured a vital away win for Masandawana.
The win sees the former CAF Champions League winners top Group B with six points after two matches played with a 100% record.
Sundowns are now in the driving seat to qualify for the knockout stages after 2-0 win in their group opener over Al-Hilal.
