Ahead of the fourth and final Test match against England in Ahmedabad, Team India's Rishabh Pant is seen spending long hours in the gym to maintain his good form, which has been in displaysince the start of the Australia series.

After registering a historical victory at the most coveted location of Gabba, defeating the invincible Australian cricket team in their home ground, Rishabh has certainly proved his critics wrong. In his recent Instagram posts, it can be seen that the 23-year-old cricketer is not losing his focus as he spends time indulging in some intense workout sessions. Pant’s recent Instagram stories show how he can lift weights effortlessly. In one of the latestposts, he was also seen performing a front handspring workout displaying his core strength.

The left-hander batsmen has scored two fifty-plus scores in the ongoing India versus England Test series. It is speculated that Rishabh is aiming to score big to take India to a series win in the fourth and final Testm which would eventually lead them to proceed to the final of the ICC World Test Championship, facing New Zealand. The fourth and final Test will begin from March 4, 2021.

Rishabh’s latest Instagram post gives a glimpse into his post-workout routine. The cricketer is seen having a healthy meal with fellow teammates Akshar Patel, Aavi Khan, and Sandeep Warrier. Rishabh captioned the post and wrote, “All smiles with the boys after an intense workout session. Making the most of the extra rest days."

Rishabh faced some fitness issues back in 2020 during the Indian Premier League that was entirely held in the UAE. The Delhi Capitals player suffered many injuries because of which he was slammed for being overweight. However, with his current workout regime, Rishabh seems determined to score big for India and brush off all the criticism. With his amazing performance in Australia in January 2021, it seems the fitness routine is working its magic.
