The continuous increase in the price of LPG cylinders is hurting the budget of the common man. On Monday, there was another increase in the price of LPG cylinders. This is the second increase in four days. LPG cylinder prices were increased by Rs 25 on Monday. Prices were increased by Rs 25 just three days ago.
With this increase, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder in Delhi is now Rs 819. The new prices have been implemented from 1 March.
On 25 February, the price of LPG was increased by 25 rupees. This was the third increase in the month of February. Earlier, the prices were increased on 4 February and 14 February.
In December, the price of the LPG cylinder was increased twice. On December 1, its rate was increased from Rs 594 to Rs 644 and on December 15, its price was again increased to Rs 694. That is, 100 rupees were raised within a month. However, prices were not raised in January. In January, the price of non-subsidized LPG (14.2 KG) was Rs 694.
At the beginning of February, the price of domestic gas had not increased and was becoming available only at the old price of Rs 694. But on 4 February its rate was again increased to Rs 719. That is, it increased by 25 rupees. Within 10 days, the price of LPG increased by Rs 50, taking it to Rs 769.
For the third time in February, LPG prices went up by Rs 25. The increase comes at a time when petrol and diesel prices are already touching highs. In particular, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel for the second consecutive day today (1 March). Rates remained stable on 28 February as well.
