Altice USA expands presence in North Carolina with acquisition of Morris Broadband

Altice USA has agreed to buy the assets of Morris Broadband, with the aim of expanding its footprint in North Carolina. Altice USA said the deal values Morris Broadband at USD 310 million on a debt-free and cash-free basis. At completion, sometime in the second quarter, North Carolina will represent the sixth largest state for Altice USA in terms of residential customers, out of the 21 where it is present. The company already had a presence in the state with its Suddenlink business.
