TO THE EDITOR:
Regarding "Tough reboot," Feb. 8: I've purchased north of 55 new and used vehicles in my lifetime but never parked a Nissan/Datsun in my garage. That will likely change after seeing the photos of the redesigned Pathfinder and Frontier, along with the redesigned Rogue.
The chiseled, squared-off new look gives Nissan a fresh identity that is masculine and aggressive but not over the top. I especially like the Pathfinder's rear, with the name spelled in big, bold letters across the tailgate.
No doubt Nissan will see sales increase dramatically and have their market share move once again in a positive direction. Now, if they can just add a dual-clutch transmission as an alternative to the continuously variable transmission.
