Two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer,
Bajaj Auto recorded 6% growth in February 2021 sales to 375,017 units compared to 354,913 units sold in the same month a year ago.
Of the total, domestic sales stood at 164,811 units down by 2% from 168,747 units of February 2020. However, exports saw a stellar performance with sales soaring by 13% to 210,206 units in February 2021 against 186,166 units sold last year the same month.
At the segment-wise performance, the company witnessed a 7% rise in two-wheelers sales to 332,563 units in February 2021 compared to 310,222 units in February 2020. However, commercial vehicles sales declined by 5% to 42,454 units against 44,691 units sold in February 2020.
Between April 2020 - February 2021, Bajaj Auto's total sales stand at 3,603,406 units declining by 18% from 4,372,637 units sold in the corresponding period of the previous year.
At around 12.26 pm, Bajaj Auto was trading at Rs3786.80 per piece down by 0.4% on Sensex.
