
(IGL) has raised prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) by 70 paise per kg and piped natural gas (PNG) by 91 paise per standard cubic meter (SCM) in Delhi and adjoining areas.
Prices have been raised "to partially offset the impact on account of increase in its operational, manpower and fixed costs during COVID-19 pandemic," the company said in a statement.
The new CNG prices would be Rs 43.40 per kg in Delhi and Rs 49.08 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad. For PNG, households will have to pay Rs 28.41 per scm in Delhi and Rs 28.36 per scm in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
New prices will be effective from Tuesday in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Muzzafarnagar, Shamli, Karnal, Kaithal and Rewari, IGL said.
